The Ryobi Ecusima manages to stand out with a design specific to Japanese profile reels. It's a reel with tradition in Romania, having performances similar to models from higher categories, which makes it appreciated by most spinning or stationary anglers for its reliability and resistance. It also provides the best quality-price ratio.

The duralumin spool has a generous line storage capacity and allows for long casts due to its widened construction. The line roller and spool lip are titanium-coated, which considerably reduces line friction during fishing. This model also features a spare graphite spool, which will help you use two different lines: one braided and one monofilament.

To achieve longer and more precise casts, Ryobi engineers used the innovative Daiwa ABS (anti-backlash system) in this model, which involves using a spool with inverse taper and a large diameter to generate wider loops during casting and implicitly to reduce line twisting. The back of the reel has a beveled profile, which facilitates comfortable fishing and increasing the casting distance of the rig/lure.

The front drag is located at the front and, to protect the discs from humidity or dirt, it has a special system that includes a plastic gasket. The handle is equipped with a rubberized knob and can be folded during storage as well as transport.

By choosing graphite as the main material for the construction of the body and rotor, a much lighter reel was obtained, but rigid enough to ensure the good functioning of the gears and the correct placement of the bearings. The reel body is made of graphite, which gives it a reduced weight. Stainless steel was used in the manufacturing of the V-Shaped Rotor ARM rotor.

The reel is equipped with 5 (4BB+1RB) bearings, an infinite anti-reverse system, a steel pinion, and the New Rotary Flat Oscillation system. Designed by Ryobi engineers, this reel is highly appreciated by both spinning anglers and those who practice feeder fishing.
