The Buddy finally gets a “long brother”. The long version is ideal for casting rigs from the bank. Furthermore, you can also use it very well to anchor over longer distances of over 200 meters and get the line out of the water.

The 2.90 meter long Buddy is by far our best-selling catfish rod in recent years. It's hard to believe, but so far we haven't recorded a single break, despite selling several thousand pieces. We're really careful with the term "indestructible", but you could almost use it with the Buddy...if the word hadn't already been wrongly used so often in the fishing tackle industry.

Why is the Buddy so robust? It's because of the modern glass blank. The Buddy is therefore not only extremely insensitive to transport damage or angle errors during drilling, but the action is also a lot of fun. The rod works excellently with smaller fish, but without being overloaded with big fish. On the contrary; Under almost any strain, the blank helps you quickly tire the fish during the fight.

The only limitation you have with this catfish rod in the 2.90 meter long version is the limitation of the fishing distance when tensioning. At a maximum of 150 meters it's over if you still want to get the line out of the water. For this reason we now have the Buddy long in our range. Now you can stretch over 200 meters without the rod standing in a semicircle in the stand. The attacks also come through better at longer distances.

Another advantage of the 3.20 meter long Buddy: With the harder backbone you can put even more pressure on the fish in extreme situations.

Each of our catfish rods is securely packaged and delivered in a high-quality rod case.

Note : Due to the rings and the action of the fiberglass blank, our Buddy Long is only suitable for use with a stationary reel or the HR 20 .
