1. Payment Methods

PayPal

If you choose to pay using the free online payment service PayPal, your money transfer will be totally secured. This method does not require you to share your financial details (credit or debit card, bank account, or PayPal balance) with us.

In order to use this payment method you must have a PayPal account.

Invoices paid via PayPal are dispatched faster. For further information about PayPal please visit: www.paypal.com

NOTE: This is the safest payment method for both parties and we strongly recommend it.

Payment in Advance / Bank Transfer

Paying for your goods via bank transfer means that you agree to pay the proforma invoice in advance. You must indicate the invoice number on the bank payment form. Your order will be dispatched as soon as we receive the payment in our account.

NOTE: This is the most cost-effective payment method, but please note that all bank fees must be covered by the customer. We must receive the exact invoice amount in our account.

Credit Card

You can use your credit card to pay the proforma invoice provided by us. We accept Visa / Visa Electron and MasterCard / Maestro.

An extra level of security for Visa and MasterCard payments protects you from unauthorised use of your credit card. The 3-D Secure technology includes the programmes Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode.

No additional charges are applied when using our online payment system.

Cash on Delivery

You will pay for your goods upon delivery, door-to-door, in your national currency. The order amount plus carriage cost (where applicable) is converted from euros into your national currency by the courier. The conversion rate applied is the one used by Econt’s or DPD’s banking partner.

We do not charge the customer any extra fee for choosing this option — you will pay only the carriage cost!

NOTE: This option is available for BULGARIA and HUNGARY only. Please verify availability before placing your order.

2. Carriage Costs

For all European countries listed below, we now offer two door-to-door delivery options, so you can choose the one that best fits your order:

- Economy Door-to-Door Delivery — a cost-effective option, with the last-mile delivery handled by a trusted local courier in your country. Ideal for parcels up to 10 kg.

- International Express Delivery — fast shipping via FedEx, UPS, or DPD, available for the full weight range up to 31,5 kg.

Carriage costs are calculated using the shipping fees shown in the tables below and will be indicated and charged on the proforma invoice. In the case of free-of-charge delivery, the proforma will contain only the ordered goods.

NOTE: Due to our carriage partners' conditions, we are unable to deliver products such as rods, landing nets, or any other item exceeding 2 metres in packed form. These products are charged by volume rather than weight, which means a rod segment of 2 metres is charged as if it weighed 10 kg. We thank you for your understanding.

2.1 Economy Door-to-Door Delivery

Our Economy shipping option uses our logistics partner Packeta, with trusted local couriers handling the last-mile delivery directly to your address. This service offers significant savings on transport costs while keeping the door-to-door experience.

Important: Economy Door-to-Door is available only for parcels up to 10 kg. For heavier parcels (up to 25 kg or 31,5 kg), please use International Express Delivery (see section 2.2).

The flat EUR rates for Economy Door-to-Door Delivery are as follows:

2.2 International Express Delivery

All Express shipments are handled by FedEx, UPS or DPD, depending on the best rates and fastest delivery time available for your destination address. Express Delivery is available for parcels up to 31,5 kg and ensures the fastest transit times across Europe.

The flat EUR rates for International Express Delivery (via FedEx, UPS or DPD) are as follows:

3. Estimated Delivery Time

If you choose PayPal, Credit Card, Online Bank Transfer, or Cash on Delivery, we dispatch your goods as soon as possible. If you choose payment in advance, we dispatch your goods as soon as we receive your payment. After dispatching your parcel, you will receive an email with detailed information and a tracking number.

Dispatch normally takes 3–7 working days within Europe; in most cases the order will be dispatched sooner. Our shipping partners are selected based on the country of destination — we always choose the best freight rate and fastest carrier available for your location.

4. Order Modification

Within a few minutes of placing your order you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. If you wish to change or cancel anything, please contact us as quickly as possible by sending an e-mail to contact@bigfish.ro.

NOTE: Please include your order number (received in your confirmation e-mail) in all correspondence relating to your order.

5. Goods Return Policy

Return of goods is accepted within 14 days from the date of receipt. You must notify us of your intention to return goods within this period by sending an e-mail to contact@bigfish.ro. After notifying us, please send the goods back to our address.

NOTE: The goods must be returned in their original packaging, without signs of use, and with all original tags and stickers attached. The return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Returns sent without prepaid postage will incur additional handling costs which will be deducted from your refund.

6. Money Refund / Out-of-Stock Products

Our displayed stock levels are generally accurate. However, stock discrepancies can occur if you order a higher quantity than our available stock, or if another customer places an order for the same product before yours is processed. As orders are handled in the sequence they are received, it is possible that we may not be able to fulfil all items in your order.

If you have already paid via PayPal, we will immediately refund the relevant amount with no fees on your side. For other payment methods, you will receive a revised order containing only the in-stock goods. The order will be processed after we receive your confirmation of the revised order.

7. Customs Duties

If you are not based in the EU, please note that customs duties and customs brokerage fees are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what additional costs may apply prior to placing your order.
