RIVE ST8 Giroseat D36 is a modular seatbox designed for coarse fishing, featuring a swivel seat with a backrest. Its new design contributes to a lighter overall weight, maintaining RIVE's reputation for producing some of the most highly regarded modular seatboxes among European anglers.

Built without compromise in terms of design or materials, the ST8 Giroseat is equipped with 36 mm diameter legs, identical to those found on the classic seat version and the premium RS2 series. These legs, made of anodized duraluminum, ensure unparalleled stability and can be securely set on all types of terrain. They are fitted with adjustable mud feet to facilitate leveling on uneven ground.

The legs allow for the attachment of a variety of accessories, such as feeder arms, keepnet adapters, side trays, or umbrella holders. The classic leg-locking system ensures a firm grip, eliminating any unwanted wobbling. To reduce weight and make the seatbox more accessible in terms of cost, the patented "Open System" metal tightening mechanism was replaced with a simpler locking system.

The ST8 Giroseat D36 also includes the famous HSP (High Stability Foot Plate) system. The two front pairs of legs are mounted directly on the platform rather than the frame, enhancing stability. The platform is secured in place using two quick-release locks, which can be precisely adjusted in open or closed positions, ensuring a stable configuration at all times.

The winder tray uses a magnetic attachment system, allowing it to be quickly and easily removed during fishing sessions. This enhances the frame's unique design, which allows the storage unit to slide out from both the front and side of the frame. Additionally, all storage units in this series are compatible with older RIVE models and with both the classic seat version and the RS2 series, creating a cohesive RIVE ecosystem.

Extra drawers can be added to reach the desired height for maximum comfort, and additional trays can also be purchased to expand storage space. The tray compartment can be completely removed to reduce weight or to accommodate bait buckets during rain if the side tray lacks a protective cover.

The seatbox is built on the ST station base and features a 360° swivel seat, ideal for feeder fishing. The seat can be folded to save space during transport, detached entirely, and even replaced with a classic seat if preferred.
