The Universal Bolo is one of the few rods extensively tested on the Danube, handling powerful fish in areas where it seems almost unbelievable to control a fight with a rod dedicated to this technique.

The rod's construction starts with IM12 carbon, featuring a dense enough modularity to create a straight-tipped blank that does not wobble upon recovery. In fact, if you meet a passionate "nase angler," this is the first aspect they look for in such a rod.

The weight is sufficiently low to allow for a full day of fishing without causing hand or wrist fatigue. To this end, the guides are slim-profiled, with SiC inserts, ensuring that the tensions caused by friction with thin-diameter monofilaments are not affected in any way. The leg length of the guides is sufficiently long to prevent the "sticking" phenomenon commonly encountered in high-humidity conditions.
