The name "Tatula" has represented remarkable quality, as well as the latest technologies and innovations for years. Accurately scanning submerged structures is of enormous importance when fishing for perch and zander with soft lures. Recognizing an extremely hard or soft bottom is a huge advantage when it comes to finding the right spots. Also, presenting soft and hard lures with twitching technique is considerably easier with a fast and stiff blank.

Tatula rods particularly combine these FEATURES: fast and very stiff HVF carbon fiber blanks combined with Daiwa's exclusive X45 technology, which allows for the design of fast and tough rods. In contrast to normal carbon fiber rods with a high resin content in the space between the carbon fibers, DAIWA HVF are made from a carbon fiber compound with less resin, called HVF - as resin has a high weight, HVF rods are more condensed, lighter and offer a fast action.

X45 technology is a special carbon fiber material aiming to improve torsional resistance. Conventional carbon fibers are always layered at a 90-degree angle. With the new X45 material, they are laid at a 45-degree angle, making the rods stronger and more resistant to stress. Despite the increased risk of deformation, flexibility is maintained. This implies that X45 rods are not only strong and cast more accurately, but also help the angler present lures delicately and safely end the fight with the fish.

The V-Joint is the foundation of a truly harmonic bending curve and, in addition, supports the fast and uniform bending curve of the Tatulas. V-Joint is a special spigot joint - the spigot and the blank are made from a special BIAS carbon fiber material, exclusively used by Daiwa. The carbon fibers follow a 45-degree angle. The consequence is a thinner joint and a perfect curve. Equipped with lightweight Fuji Alconite guides, a Fuji reel seat, and a split handle finished with premium EVA, these modern rods offer large power reserves.
